Nathan McAndrew is an Australian cricketer who plays for the Sydney Thunders in the Big Bash League (BBL). He is also studying Civil Engineering at the University of Wollongong. He moved to South Australia to play Sheffield Shield as well as white-ball cricket in the 2021/22 season.

McAndrew made his Sheffield Shield debut for South Australia against Western Australia. He returned with the figures of 3/71 which included the wickets of Cameron Bancroft, Cameron Green, and Shaun Marsh.

The all-rounder has registered his name for the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction 2023. The auction will be on December 23 in Kochi. McAndrew signed up for a base price of INR 20 lakh.

He debuted for the Sydney Thunder against Sydney Sixers in BBL on January 16, 2016. In 42 T20 games, he scalped 36 wickets. He is a bit expensive in the shortest format as he bowls at an economy rate of 9.20.
