The Indian cricket team fans have gone crazy during the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021. India’s chances of making it to the knockout stage of the T20 Championship are hanging by a balance. The Men in Blue had a torrid start to their campaign as by as they registered big defeats against New Zealand and Pakistan.

However, the team got back on track with commanding victories over Afghanistan and Scotland. With two victories and two defeats, India are third in the Group B standings. The team is next scheduled to play against Namibia. Even if India secure a win against Namibia, they will need help from Afghanistan to qualify for the semi-finals.

The Afghanistan cricket team needs to defeat the Blackcaps in their last league match to ensure India’s qualification for the next round. Thus, all the eyes are now on Afghanistan vs New Zealand clash as it will decide the future of the Men in Blue. Meanwhile, some sensible fans have also been floating a message to not abuse or spread hate for any Afghan player even if they lose the match. “Jokes and fun aside I have one request to all my mutuals and those who are supporting Afg in a fun way please don’t abuse players if Afg loses the match or in the heat of the moment support is good but abuses aren’t. It’s a humble request,” the message reads. 

If Afghanistan manages to beat New Zealand, then India will be required to beat Namibia by a considerable margin. India is already ahead of Afghanistan and Kiwis in terms of the run rate.
