Yuzvendra Chahal

India’s one of the finest limited-over spin bowlers of recent years, Yuzvendra Chahal, was surprisingly released by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) ahead of IPL 2022. The 31-year-old will surely begin a bidding war at the auction table if he’s not bought by any of the two new franchises amongst their top picks.

Rashid Khan

One of the greatest T20 bowlers of all time, Rashid Khan, was released by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) as he was considered the second-choice player. However, the Afghan cricketer wasn’t ready for this and wanted to try his luck at the mega auction. Khan is also reportedly in touch with the Lucknow franchise for the upcoming season.

Ravichandran Ashwin

Veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin recently made a terrific comeback in white-ball cricket in the national colours. The youngster was also picked ahead of Chahal in the Indian squad for the 2021 T20 WC. Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga has been quite impressive in various T20 leagues across the globe.
