Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians have defeated Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals on Saturday, May 22 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Before both the teams, Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals walked out onto the field, RCB teams, who were the desperate ones had changed social media profile to blue colour to voice their support for Rohit Sharma and co.

“I am banking on Rohit to come good,” RCB skipper Faf du Plessis had said after they had defeated Gujarat Titans.

When the match was going on, RCB had shared pictures of all the team players watching MI vs DC. Head coach Sanjay Bangar could also be seen with the players.

But now with this win Royal Challengers Bangalore have secured their 4th spot on the points table. Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans tops the list with 20 points, followed by Rajasthan Royals with 18 points and Lucknow Supergiants with 18 points.

RCB must be thanking power-hitter Tim David who played a crucial innings of 11-ball 34 runs. And bowler Jasprit Bumrah took care of his department with his 3-wicket haul. Ishan Kishan just fell short of 2 runs to score his half-century and they reached the total of 160 quite easily.
