“Treat to watch”- Twitter reacts as Rishabh Pant, Rohit Sharma star to help India set a huge 192 for West Indies in 4th T20I

With the help of Rohit Sharma’s quick-fire and Rishabh Pant’s knocks, India reached a huge total of 191/5 on Saturday, August 6 at the Central Broward Regional Park in Florida, USA.


West Indies have won the toss and opted to bowl first. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav walked out to bat and the former played a quick-fire to stitch a 53-run partnership with Suryakumar. But Rohit soon walked back to the pavillion after a ball from Akeal Hosein bowled him out. Rohit had scored 33 runs off 16 balls with three sixes and two fours.

Suryakumar scored 24 runs off 14 balls with two sixes and a four. Alzarri Joseph pulled his length back slightly and angled it into middle and leg and it touched Suryakumar’s pads.


Deepak Hooda scored 21 runs off 19 balls and Joseph was the bowler to dismiss him. Rishabh Pant then scored the most runs for India. He played 31 balls to score 44 runs with six boundaries. But Obed McCoy bowled a full one and Pant went for the cross-batted heave to the leg side and got a top edge. The ball flied to the long on and Dominic Drakes tokk his time to take a comfortable catch.

Sanju Samson also contributed 30 runs to the innings. He played 23 balls with a six and two fours to score the runs and remained unbeaten. Axar Patel smashed two sixes and a four to score 20 runs off eight balls and took India’s score to 191/5.
