During the second ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand on Wednesday (January 11) in Karachi, umpire Mohammad Wasim Jr’s throw hit umpire Aleem Dar on his ankle.
The incident took place in the 36th over of the Kiwi’s innings. Glenn Phillips was batting, and he sent the ball off Haris Rauf toward the deep square leg. Wasim picked it up and aimed for the stumps. But instead, it hit Dar, who, a second later, was seen tossing his sweater on the ground after being hit. Pakistan speedster Naseem Shah could be seen massaging his ankle later.
