Talking about the match, CSK got the start they needed. Not at first but in the blink of an eye, CSK reached the three-figure mark, all due to Ruturaj Gaikwad’s breathtaking knock.
When on the other end CSK were losing wickets, Gaikwad stayed glued to the crease and completed his half-century off just 23 balls. Apart from Conway, Moeen Ali got dismissed for 23 runs by Rashid Khan, and later the Afghan spin wizard got rid of Ben Stokes as well. Joshua Little then stunned Ambati Rayudu in the 13th over. Soon CSK reached 178/7 owing to Gaikwad’s scintillating knock of 92 runs from 50 balls with four boundaries and nine sixes at a strike rate of 184.
Gujarat also got off to a flying start. They are way ahead of CSK at the time of writing this piece. Gujarat reached 83 in nine overs for a loss of one wicket. Shubman Gill is at the crease and he is not looking to give away his wicket easily. Rajvardhan Hangargekar gave the first breakthrough by dismissing Wriddhiman Saha.
