The Knight Riders scripted a last-over victory over the Delhi Capitals by three wickets in the second semi-final. KKR made a thriller out of a well-paced chase but eventually managed to get over the line with a ball to spare.

And Tripathi deserves all the appreciation for he has been the pillar of the batting line up which lacks stability in the middle order. The young batsman stepped up when his team needed him the most and is a big reason why KKR is in the final of IPL 2021.
