Ever since his debut, Shadab Khan has been Pakistan bowling’s mainstay. The leg spinner has bagged 135 wickets combined in the white-ball format and has made a reputation as a genuine wicket-taker in the middle overs. Shadab, who has represented Pakistan in 118 international games and has come a long way in his short yet eventful career.

The 23-year-old have had the opportunity of donning the Pakistan cap in the longest format and has done reasonably well in the limited opportunities he’s got. Shadab Khan has bagged 14 wickets at 36.64 while aggregating 513 runs at an impressive average of 33.33 for a bowler from six matches.

On Monday, the young gun took to Twitter and invited his fans for a Q&A session. “As promised: I will do a live Twitter Q&A session from 9 pm to 9:30 pm tonight. Use #AskShadab to ask questions. I will try to reply to as many questions as possible starting at 9 pm, apologies in advance if I miss out on any. Catch you then,” he wrote. The fans were thrilled at the prospect and bombarded Shadab with their intriguing questions.

When quizzed about the toughest batter to bowl to, Shadab Khan named two of the most devastating openers the game has seen, Rohit Sharma and David Warner. While it is unlikely that the leggie had faced both batters for a real duel, given that they are openers who seldom have had to face spin, Shadab feels they are the most dangerous.

When quizzed about the toughest bowler he had faced, the leggie came up with a cheeky reply. Shadab asserts that he feels bad whenever any bowler gets him out.

Earlier too, Shadab Khan had hosted a QnA session and then too, he had named Rohit Sharma as the toughest batter he has faced. Shadab had a tough encounter with Rohit in the 2019 World Cup where he hit him for a couple of humongous sixes on the trot en route to his century.

Shadab Khan played a crucial role in Pakistan’s stunning run at the recently concluded T20 World Cup. The leg spinner picked up nine wickets in six games including a four-wicket haul in the semifinal against Australia. Shadab is all set to represent the Brisbane Heats in the ongoing BBL season.
