‘Oh yes! I am’ – Shubman Gill opens up on his alleged affair with Sara Tendulkar

Answering a question during a QnA session on Instagram, Shubman Gill shared that he is single and has no plans of marriage in near future.

Shubman Gill broke onto the international scene with a scintillating performance in the U10 World Cup 2018. Gill was in tremendous touch in the World Cup and notched up an Indian Premier League (IPL) contract with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). he hasn’t looked back since as he went on to make his ODI and Test debut for India in Australia last year and made an immediate impact in the longest format.

As Shubman Gill rose through the ladders, there have been rumors of the young batsman being in a relationship with Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar. While Gill was never spotted with his rumored girlfriend Sara, their social media activity led fans to believe otherwise. During a QNA session on Instagram, Gill squashed the rumors as he shared that he is “single.”

Oh yes! I am. And I have no plans of cloning myself in near future either,” Gill wrote answering a fan’s question which read,
Are you single?

Watch – Shubman Gill and co sweat it out ahead of WTC final

Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant and the rest of the Indian cricketers took to training today ahead of the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) amidst their quarantine period in Mumbai.  The official handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a video today that they captioned, “Getting stronger each day!” which showed the Indian players sweating it out at the gym during quarantine as they trained for the WTC final.

India are likely to go with Gill as one of the openers along with Rohit Sharma. Although the 21-year-old did not have a particularly good series against England, he showed in Australia where he had a baptism by fire that he can handle pressure and come up with crucial knocks for his side even when the chips are down. Rishabh Pant is also certain to start as the wicket-keeper thanks to his stupendous run of form over the course of the last year.
