With the second wave of the COVID-19 virus rampaging in India, lakhs of citizens are infected daily, and many have died. Actor Sonu Sood has provided convenience and support to many families across India through his charity Sonu Sood Foundation. Sood has been working tirelessly to assist people affected by the Covid crisis since last year. He and his staff have been helping those in need of medical equipment, shelter, and financial assistance. Sood has been a lifesaver for many people, from aiding them in reaching their homes to supplying medications and food.

Sonu Sood recently offered help and support to cricketer Harbhajan Singh on Wednesday. Harbhajan posted a tweet asking for assistance in obtaining one Remdesiver injection syringe for a COVID-19-positive patient in Karnataka. Sonu Sood responded to the tweet by stating that he would have it delivered.

 “Bhaji…Will be delivered,” tweeted Sonu Sood responding to Harbhajan Singh. “Thank you, my brother..may god bless you with more strength,” Harbhajan Singh tweeted.

Earlier, Sonu Sood aided Suresh Raina by arranging for an oxygen cylinder for a member of his family. Sood is attempting to prepare the nation for the pandemic’s third wave. The actor is transporting oxygen plants from France and other countries to India to install at multiple locations. At least four of the oxygen plants will be built in India’s worst-affected COVID-19 districts, namely Delhi and Maharashtra.

“We are bringing in oxygen plants for the people in need. We have seen a lot of people suffering because of the unavailability of oxygen cylinders. We have got it now, and are already giving it to people. However, these oxygen plants will not only supply to entire hospitals but will also get these oxygen cylinders filled up, which will solve a major problem of the people suffering from Covid-19,” Sonu Sood told IndiaTVNews.

Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina were a part of IPL 2021 which got postponed midway on 4th May amid Covid-19 concerns within the bio-bubble. Harbhajan represented Kolkata Knight Riders whereas Suresh Raina was a part of Chennai Super Kings.
