On Wednesday, Kohli again made headlines as he was seen in a jolly mood during India’s clash against Afghanistan.
India were up against Afghanistan in a must-win encounter at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Put to bat first, the Indian team got off to a blistering start as they delivered a hair-raising performance with the willow. India posted a mammoth score of 210 runs in their 20 overs.
A sensational performance by the batting unit lifted the mood of Virat Kohli and he was seen enjoying while fielding in the second innings. As Afghanistan were chasing a big total of 211 runs, Virat was seen dancing to the tunes of ‘My Name Is Lakhan’.
Virat Kohli’s dance goes viral
As India were leading the match, the Indian fans started playing the famous Anil Kumar starrer song, ‘My Name Is Lakhan’. Kohli, who was walking towards the boundary line during one of the overs break, couldn’t stop himself and did the hook step of the famous Bollywood song.
The short dance by the Indian skipper was captured by some of the fans present in the stadium. The video quickly went viral on social media as the cricket fans went crazy over Virat Kohli’s dance.
Meanwhile, the match between India and Afghanistan ended with the Men in Blue scripting a big win by 66 runs. This was the first victory for India in the T20 World Cup 2021.
