Curtis Campher is the name being searched by a plethora of cricket fans. Campher stunned the entire cricket fraternity as he joined the elite league of bowlers including Rashid Khan and Lasith Malinga. The right-arm fast-medium bowler delivered a hair-raising performance in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match between Netherlands and Ireland by picking up four wickets off four consecutive deliveries.

Curtis Campher is a right-arm seamer who started his career as an Under-19 player for South Africa. However, a lack of opportunities in his home country prompted the pacer to shift to Ireland in early 2020. The decision by Campher proved to be a turning point in his cricket career as he quickly found a place in Ireland’s cricket team.

Making his debut in the three-match T20I series against England, Campher impressed the cricket fraternity with his conduct with the bat and the ball. The 22-year-old has so far featured in 10 One Day Internationals and 5 T20 Internationals picking eight and seven wickets respectively.

The Johannesburg-born also has 359 ODI and 40 T20I runs to his credit at a strike rate of 72.97 and 148.15 respectively. The flamboyant seam all-rounder now forms an integral part of Ireland’s cricket team and is a part of their squad for the T20 World Cup.
