For this series, the selectors gave many new players a chance to showcase their talents. While players like Nitish Rana and Krishnappa Gowtham will get a chance to play in the starting XI, the Indian team also gave chance to new net bowlers like Simarjeet Singh.

The 23 year old right arm pacer played for Delhi in domestic cricket. His consistency at the domestic level, earned him a chance to crack the senior team.

Although there is still a lot to do for Singh, he is definitely heading towards the right direction. As for his career stats so far, he has appeared in 10 first-class, 19 List A, and 15 T20 matches. In these games, he has picked up 37 first-class wickets, 19 List A wickets, and 18 T20 wickets.

Moreover, Simarjeet Singh has the ability to rack up multiple wickets in a single game. This wicket-taking ability could prove instrumental for his success in the future.
