West Indies will face South Africa in the 2nd Test of South Africa’s tour of West Indies which is scheduled to be played from 18th June – 22nd June at the Daren Sammy National Stadium, St Lucia.
South Africa won the first test by an innings and 63 runs inside three days and will be riding strong on momentum. The Proteas will be hoping to replicate the same by winning the test series 2-0 and sweeping the hosts, while the West Indies will be hoping to salvage the series.
Batting first, West Indies got off to a disastrous start, being thrashed for 97/10 courtesy to Lungi Ngidi’s fifer and assistance from Anrich Nortje. Coming to bat, South Africa was dealt a big blow early on, but Quinton de Kock’s 144* helped the visitors get back in the game, as they managed to score 322 runs.
Trailing by 225 runs, the Windies had a huge task ahead of themselves to save the match but had no answers to Kagiso Rabada’s fierce bowling, who picked up five wickets to bundle out the hosts on 162 and secure a convincing win for the Proteas.

Pitch Report
The wicket at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium will offer a decent amount of pace and bounce to the fast bowlers. Batting would be difficult in the initial days and both the teams would try to exploit that by opting to bowl first.
