Prior to the WTC final, several players from both sides sat down for an interview. In the interview they talked about their favorite all-time Test players.

Rishabh Pant picked former Aussie wicket keeper Adam Gilchrist as his favorite player. On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah chose Glenn McGrath. Other players, including Ravi Ashwin, named none other than the great Sachin Tendulkar as their favorite player.

While the players had a chance to relax and talk in an interview, the biggest talking point remains the WTC final. In the much anticipated game where India and New Zealand are facing each other is taking shape.

Virat Kohli and co. batted first were unable to put a huge score on the scoreboard. Behind Kyle Jamieson’s insane five-wicket haul, the Men in Blue were sent back to Pavilion for 217 runs.

As of now, NZ batsmen are on crease and looking forward to give a good start to their team. Keeping everything in mind, if rainfall doesn’t interrupt the match again, this match should be an absolute thrilling contest.

If India wants to have a shot at winning this match, they need to take a few wickets in this session. Otherwise, the match can get of their hand pretty quickly.
