Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp has thanked all the ‘incredible’ health workers for their efforts in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. He took to Twitter to express his gratitude towards the workers of health services.
In a video posted on the official Twitter handle of FC Liverpool, He said, “Myself, the staff and all the players of LFC would like to take this opportunity to deliver a message to say thank you to all the incredible people who work in the health services, all the health workers out there. It’s unbelievable what you are doing and on behalf of all of us from LFC, I would like to say thank you – or, how we would say in Germany, Vielen dank,”
On the other side, former football star player David Beckham has also shared a video on Instagram, where he can be seen thanking & clapping for the health workers along with his children.
In the video, he says, “Happy to be able to come together with the whole country to thank the brave healthcare workers and our brilliant NHS working tirelessly in the fight against COVID-19 #ClapForOurCarers @victoriabeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven,”
Various footballers also have come forward to express their gratitude towards the medical staff including Manchester United’s Harry Maguire and Tottenham’s Lucas Moura.
The spread of coronavirus is continuing to wreak havoc all around the world and has forced the postponement of various competitions including the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
