Indian Paralympic Champion & The President of PCI, Deepa Malik has come forward to donate a whopping ₹5.7 lakh sum to the PMs National Relief Fund for the rehabilitation during Natural Calamities.
Malik took to Twitter to share about what aid she’s going to provide to the poor amid the fight against Coronavirus ‘COVID-19’ Pandemic.
She said, ‘Enabled 5.7 lacs contribution towards PMs National Relief Fund for the rehabilitation during Natural Calamities, forseeing the #COVID19 situation in other countries.The situation since has escalated. Offering food to needy & staying home itself is a great contribution!”

Deepa Malik is the first Indian woman to win a medal in Paralympic Games as she won a Silver medal at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in ‘Shot Put’. Besides this, she has also won gold in F-53/54 Javelin event at the Para athletic Grand Prix which was held in Dubai in 2018.
The Novel Coronavirus ‘COVID-19’ was declared a Pandemic by WHO on March 11th and has infected over a million worldwide. In India there are over 2500 cases and 72 people died because of it.
