Dingko Singh Reached Delhi In SpiceJet’s Air Ambulance For Cancer Treatment

Former Indian boxer and Asian Gold medallist Dingko Singh flown from Imphal to Delhi for his cancer treatment by Spicejet’s air ambulance service. He along with his wife, Ngangom Babai Devi reached Delhi.

Spice Jet Chairman and managing director Ajay Singh, who is also a president of Boxing Federation of India(BFI) had decided to fly Dingko in an ambulance service Spice Jet from Imphal to Delhi.

During this pandemic whole country is in lockdown and no transportation service is available, the airline provided the air ambulance service free of charge to the former Boxer.

“I am to happy share that Dingko, our champion boxer, has reached Delhi and has been taken to hospital for further treatment. SpiceJet is honoured to have provided its air ambulance service to our national hero and fly him to Delhi for his treatment and we wish him a speedy recovery,” Ajay Singh said in a statement.

The 41 year old Asian Gold medallist was reached Delhi on Saturday at 6:15 pm in the evening and headed towards the institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) in an ambulance straight from the airport. The BFI also keep an eye on the treatment and progress on him.
