Ever since Novak Djokovic recovered, he has been allowed to travel and visit other counties without any risk or restrictions, and currently, the World No.1 is on a trip Sarajevo with his family.
While the main purpose is to meet fellow player Damir Dzumhur, the Serbian was also clicked visiting other places of the city.
The main focus of the news comes here, while Djokovic was in the municipality of Pale, Bosko Jugovic, The Mayor of Pale, declared that ‘the councilors of their legislative assembly has unanimously agreed to gift Novak Djokovic a plot of land on the Jahorina mountain’.
Surprisingly, Grand Slam champion also has a ski resort named after him this very mountain.
“In agreement with the authorities from the Olympic center, Novak and his father, we gave them land at this location that should have been originally assigned to them. The construction of a sports center is necessary for a mountain like Jahorina.” Jugovic said.
The Serbian is expected to return on the mountain sometime later so that he can officially be handed the ownership contract. However, Djokovic till now hasn’t commented on anything on the generous gift that he has received.
Djokovic is clearly the pride of Serbia, as even the Prime Minister Ana Brnabić came out in support of the 16 time Slam champion when he was under tremendous criticism.
