They finished with 104-112 after a contesting 4th quarter. A vintage LeBron James show was set up in the 4th quarter. He was unstoppable driving with the ball and shooting it confidently. The absence of Davis is hitting the team somehow. The defence was unable to contain Karl Anthony-Town in the post. Although Gasol has a similar body to Kat, he isn’t quick enough to meet him. But LeBron’s display offensively and defensively has come after a long time.

LeBron James’ Leadership awes teammates on court as Marc Gasol is left impressed

Needless to say the LA Lakers are in a fine form. Regardless their injury sessions, the team is well motivated to continue in the absence of AD. In the post-game interview, Marc Gasol shared his thoughts on LBJ leading from front. He said, “It’s important to grow as a team. I think defensively, we had a little bit more urgency. You don’t have AD on the back, kind of saving a lot of possessions… So we set the tone, we were winding up the ball, we were able to get out and run a little bit and get easy transition points. He does it all, very unselfish, great mind, has all the tools. Happy he’s on my team or I’m on his team,” he added.

Gasol earlier mentioned that LeBron is one of the most complete players the league has ever seen. At 36, the man can still fly and carry a team. He is always ready to switch gears and motivate to do so. Maybe on court or off court, he is an exceptional mentor.
