In the middle of coronavirus pandemic, World No.3 Dominic Thiem is the first leading player to restart competitive tennis. Thiem will be in action at the Generali Austrian Pro Series organized by tennisnet.com.
Sixteen men and eight women will participate in this tournament. The women’s tournament will begin on June 10th while men’s events will be held from May 25 for the prize money of 151,750 euros.
Matches will be played without spectators, ball boys and line judges, only the chair umpire and players will present on the court. The event will be held in the federal performance center in Sudstadt and fans can watch Thiem matches live on ServusTV.
Sixteen male players are halved into four groups of four players each and the top twelve players will step ahead in the next round and will proceed in four groups of three. And will have the same format of the ATP Finals as top eight players will entitle in the final event.
