When Donald Trump talks, everyone listens. One may agree or disagree with him, hate him or love him, but it is undeniable that the man has the ability to get the attention upon himself.

In his latest book, Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass, he makes a surprising mention of Taylor Swift. From an excerpt shared via VARIETY, Donald Trump praises Travis Kelce’s girlfriend and went on to ogle at her beauty. 

I think she's beautiful, very beautiful! I find her very beautiful. I think she's liberal. She probably doesn't like Trump. I hear she's very talented, I think she's very beautiful, actually-unusually beautiful!

The former POTUS admitted that he believes that the 14-time Grammy winner is probably not the biggest fan of him but irrespective of that, he is a fan of her beauty. Donald Trump and Taylor Swift have had their share of back-and-forths. As the election nears, Trump and his aides are keeping close tabs on the public statements made by her. While she is yet to formally announce her support for the Democrats and President Joe Biden, she has been vocal to her fans and urged them to go out and vote on previous occasions.

The influence wielded by the pop star as election time comes around cannot be overlooked. Trump and his campaign managers understand that President Biden is likely counting on Swift to be his Hail Mary in case the numbers begin to go against him. Jason Miller, the senior adviser to his campaign acknowledged the same in an email to Rolling Stone.

Joe Biden might be counting on Taylor Swift to save him, but voters are looking at these sky-high inflation rates and saying, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.

Donald Trump is not losing sweat over her impact, the reason is because he believes that his popularity exceeds that of hers amongst the electorate. This time, however, it appears that Taylor Swift may not get herself involved in politics. In 2018, she vouched for two Tennessee Democrats and that greatly boosted the party’s odds.

Despite her silence ahead of the elections, Swift has never been a fan of Trump. In 2020, after the protests broke out following the demise of George Floyd, she clapped back at the-then President over his threats to protesters. She called him out for “stoking the fires of white supremacy,” and proceeded to boldly predict that the electorate would vote him out in November.

Taylor Swift may not be vocal about politics but when she does talk, her messages have a significant impact on the electorate. For now, the pop star remains busy on her Eras Tour and has a buzzing relationship with Travis Kelce. Donald Trump has come out and commented on their relations in a previous interview with the Daily Caller. In another excerpt from the same book, Trump questioned if the Blank Space star is really a liberal or not.

He speculates if that is truly her belief or if it is all just an act. The recently convicted President has mixed feelings towards Swift but he is not totally speaking up against her as he knows, by alienating her, he would be doing more harm to his campaign.
