Don’t have any expectations whatsoever: Dana White on Nick Diaz’s return

The rumors regarding Nick Diaz return to the octagon doesn’t mean a whole lot to UFC president Dana White. The latter has had a consistent streak of on and off discussions with the former welterweight title challenger.
“There’s been talking, but there’s been talking for years,” White said following the Contender Series
Nick Diaz’s manager had earlier informed that the fighter recently completed a 14 week training regimen and weight cut in preparation for a 2021 return to the Octagon. MMA and UFC fanatics could not control their excitement to see the elder Diaz brother back in the sport. Nick was last seen fighting against Anderson Silva at UFC 183. Nick’s loss was later overturned to a no contest after Silva failed a drug test.
Nick Diaz eyeing to fit in Welterweight Division after comeback
There is absolutely no doubt that the welterweight division now contains fighters who are much quicker and adjustable as compared to the 37-year-old Nick Diaz. It will certainly be interesting to see where Nick Diaz will stand in the Welterweight division
But experts suggest that the clever thing to do in Nick’s matter, would be to take in big money fights and then call it quits. Before some young fighters get there hands on the elder Diaz brother.
However, it is only up-to time to tell how Nick Diaz will fare. But there’s certainly going to be a lot of buzz about his return fight.
