Ember Moon made her return to WWE NXT, last year. The former NXT Women’s Champion will next be seen on NXT TakeOver: Vengeance. Moon will be teaming up with Shotzi Blackheart to take on Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez in the finals of the Dusty Cup tournament.
Prior to her match at the NXT special show, Moon recently appeared for an interview. She mentioned that she has never wanted to participate in a Steel Cage match. Despite her unwillingness to be in the particular stipulation, Moon was a part of the women’s WarGames match last year.
Ember Moon is scared of heights
During her interview with Sportskeeda, Moon revealed the reason for not being interested in the steel cage match. Despite being experienced in doing crazy stuff during her independent scene days, steel cage never interested her. A part of the reason is that she is scared of heights.
“It’s crazy because I’ve never had the urge to be in a steel cage. Like I’ve done a lot of crazy stuff on the independent scene from thumbstacks to glass to, you know, TLC matches to anything and everything under the sun…a part of me never wanted to do a steel cage match because Ember Moon is afraid of heights (laughs) and I’m very open about this.”
Despite her fear, Moon participated in the WarGames last year. She represented Team Shotzi in the match and even carried out some high-flying moves. However, her team was defeated by Team Candice.
NXT TakeOver: Vengeance airs live on 14th February, 2021.
