Esports Awards 2023: Schedule, categories, nominees and more

The long-awaited annual Esports Awards 2023 awaits us all. With just over 2 months away from commencing, the Esports community has now revealed the categories for awards, their contending nominees as well as the schedule set for the prestigious event. However, the winners can and will only be decided through your votes, so make sure to submit yours.

This will be the 8th edition to be hosted, set in Las Vegas, Nevada just like the previous year. Ranging a total of 31 different categories, Esports Awards will be looking to honor teams, players, journalists and influencers amongst others. The categories were revealed on September 20th. However, the votes will only be available for the general public till November 14th.

Every day, one vote can be made on the Esports Award website. Although nominations had begun back in June, it had just then closed a month later on July 7th. No confirmation has been given as to any events that would take place during the awards. Last year’s Esports Awards ceremony saw a golf tournament take place, so you never know what to expect this year.

Esports Awards 2023 Location, Categories and Nominees

So the all-awaited Esports Awards 2023 is set to take place at the Resorts World Las Vegas. It will commence on November 30th, although votes will be finalized by November 14th, except for a few categories that were revealed late. Namely, those are Esports PC Player, Esports Organization, and Esports Team of the Year.

This year has seen a lot of ground-breaking moments. For instance, Evil Geniuses Valorant Coach, Christine “Potter” Chi, became the first woman to win a major eSports Championship. On a national level, S8UL Esports and MortaL have also made a whole nation proud after both have successfully secured themselves as finalists in the Esports Awards for the second time consecutively, representing India.
