Hogwarts Legacy: How to increase your inventory space?

Hogwarts Legacy is a huge game for players to explore. With its expansive maps and numerous elements, the game has a complex layering of narrative and gameplay that is rather engaging. Taking inspiration from the original Harry Potter series, the game has introduced various quests and missions that include casting spells and using potions. This calls for players to acquire various materials.

And then adding the same to their inventory. However, this is not an easy task. Acquiring potions, tools, and other equipment is only halfway through the game. Carrying the huge inventory and using it is a task in itself.

Players often find it difficult to replace one tool with another ingredient and to weigh out the odds of having one of them. However, there’s always an option to bypass the difficult judgment of excluding to keep an item in inventory in Hogwarts Legacy. The trick is to increase the already existing space that the game has provided the players with initially. Read on to make sure you take almost everything in your inventory.

Here are two simples ways for increasing the inventory Space in Hogwarts Legacy

When players initially start playing Hogwarts Legacy, they have a total of about 20 gear slots. While it gives the impression of being sufficient, as the game progresses, this results in less than what’s needed. So read on to learn how to increase your inventory space.

Steps to increase your inventory space in Hogwarts Legacy

Step 1: This will require the players to complete the Merlin Trials. For players to start the Merlin Trials, they will have to complete the main quest of the Hogwarts Legacy. After players start with the quest, Through various scenes and playing along, they will gain the knowledge to complete the trials. Scratching your heads through puzzles by using the application of spells and items to find a way around them to solve them.

Step 2: This will further unlock the Merlin Trials quest in the game. And this will eventually result in increased signatures for the Merlin Trials across the map. Now, with each passing and completion of a trail in Merlin Trials, you will unlock newer gear slots.

After completing two of the trails, it will result in unlocking four slots in inventory space. With time and completing all the missions, it will open up 20 more slots for players to add their tools and equipment. Which will add up to 40 slots in total count.

The challenges or tasks of completing the Merlin Trails and receiving the slots are different. The first slot is received after completing the first two Merlin Trials. Here is the sequence for unlocking the inventory slots.

• 2 Merlin Trials
• 6 Merlin Trials
• 10 Merlin Trials
• 14 Merlin Trials
• 18 Merlin Trials

Players should note that each passing addition for the slots is only limited to a multiple of 4. Also, each passing slot is added manually by the players.

Follow the given guidelines to add the inventory slots in Hogwarts Legacy

1. Click on the pause and navigate towards the Challenges section which is present on the Radial menu.
2. Click on the Explanation and go down until players see the Merlin Trials.
3. Coming across the “Milestones” click on the option to add inventory in each milestone players have completed in Hogwarts Legacy

Now players can go around playing in Hogwarts Legacy without thinking too much about the space in inventory!
