After the 1.8 update was rolled out in both PUBG Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India, every player had only one question that is when can they see BGMI New TDM map Santorini. The 8 vs 8 Team Deathmatch map was apparently going to be released in the current update, however, it has not been released as of now.
New maps are a welcome addition in Krafton’s Battlegrounds Mobile India as players often wish to explore new places while picking up their favorite weapons. It has been a very long time since a new map was released, the last being Karakin, a classic mode map that is relatively smaller than other maps except for Livik. This makes players anxiously wait for BGMI New TDM map Santorini.
BGMI New TDM map ‘Santorini’ predicted release date
Ever since the leaks regarding BGMI 1.8 update started circulating, players became highly excited for the new in-game mode where players can use the powers of Spider-Man. What also caught attention was the leaked gameplay of Santorini, a new Team Deathmatch map that will feature sixteen players at a time.
Surprisingly, BGMI New TDM map Santorini was not seen after updating to the newer version of the game even though the Spider-Man mode and Aftermath mode in Livik is playable. As Krafton did not mention any details regarding the new map, players were baffled as to whether they are really getting the map anytime soon.
Players should note that several YouTubers have mentioned that the release date of BGMI New TDM map Santorini could be delayed as the developers have already launched two game modes simultaneously. However, it is also worth mentioning here that Santorini could be seen within the last days of January as the map was shown in the beta game.
For those who are unaware, BGMI New TDM map Santorini will feature an 8 vs 8 battle, which means things are going to become more intense at the battlegrounds. The map consists of several new locations such as Villa, Suites, North Street, and more.
BGMI New TDM map Santorini will be larger compared to the existing maps such as Warehouse and Hangar. As it will feature 8 vs 8 gameplay, players need to claim 80 finishes to win the match. The target time will also be higher than the normal TDM maps.
Even though the map is expected to arrive in late January, Krafton has not confirmed the release date or given us any hints regarding the map, therefore, players should take this information with a grain of salt.
