“Keep the gamer within you alive”: 8bit Thug has already found the alternative for BGMI

PUBG New State has become the alternative for BGMI after its ban

Animesh ‘8bit Thug’ Agarwal might have already found the alternative for Battlegrounds Mobile India after the game got banned on 28th July due to alleged Chinese connections. The alternative is none other than PUBG New State, the futuristic battle-royale game created by the same developers that brought BGMI in India.

Krafton’s New State Mobile was not a major hit in India as well as on a global level as players were more accustomed to PUBG Mobile and other regional versions of the battle-royale game. The futuristic atmosphere of Troi might not have suited the audience well but with the ban of BGMI, several eSports professionals are turning towards the game.

One of those personalities is none other than 8bit Thug, the co-owner of S8UL Esports, one of the most successful BGMI teams in the country that could be participating at the upcoming PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 if they receive a positive reply from the concerned officials of the tournament.

New State is now trending

On the battle-royale game betting banned, ‘Thug’ urged the players not to cry over spilled milk and start grinding for another game by Krafton, PUBG New State-

"New State could be future! We have been here in 2020, we sailed through it! What we saw was a complete give up attitude from majority of the people. It is not about giving up- keep the gamer within you alive. Take correct guidance under correct people and this too shall be easy. The ecosystem is about the fans, the teams, the players, they are still here- why worry?"

Thug is not the only personality to shift to this game as prominent streamers and content creators such as Scout, Dynamo have already started live streaming sessions on different games such as Apex Legends, New State Mobile and others. Skyesports’ League tournament has also been shifted to this game that would be quite intriguing to watch.

Just a couple of days after BGMI’s ban, Krafton’s next level battle-royale game was trending in the category of Action Games on Google Play Store. The game which received whopping pre-registration numbers has been quite frequent in releasing updates and collaborations that might interest the players.

While it is true that the game does not have the same hype that BGMI had, it should also be noted that battle-royale games require some time to gain a huge fandom.
