Global Esports wins BGMI Masters Series 2022

The month long LAN tournament hosted by NODWIN Gaming, BGMI Masters Series finally saw its concluding day with Global Esports emerging as the champions of the offline event. Starting their finals journey at the seventh position, the team led by the players who were not didn’t get the spotlight at the competitive eSports initially as compared to other participants was able to walk away with the trophy.

The winning team was awarded with the prize money of a whopping 25 lakhs from the total prize money of 1.5 Crores INR, which is by far the largest prize money kept by a third party tournament organizer.

The first ever eSports tournament in India that was broadcasted on television, the BGMI Masters Series had a charm of its own as it managed to break the flagship viewership records of several other tournaments such as the UEFA Champions League. The participants shed their blood and sweat together to provide an action packed tournament for their fans at the last day of the finals.

The 17th match of the finals began at the Erangel classic map with GodLike Esports managing to stay till the last play zone with three of its squad members alive but were eliminated at the fourth position. The winners of the first match were Team Enigma Forever after they successfully finished the last member from Skylightz Gaming.

Sanhok was chosen as the second map for the 18th match of BGMI Masters Series finals where the chicken dinner was claimed by BLIND Esports after an intense competition with 8bit eSports while entering inside the shrinking play zone. BLIND Esports’ player Deadpool took the highest number of finishes in this match to take his team to a respectable overall position.

The third match of the day took place in the deserts of Miramar, which offers the largest classic map in Battlegrounds Mobile India. Fan favorite team, Team Soul unfortunately took an early exit from this match where the first position was claimed by Global Esports who solidified their top position at the scoreboard. Other teams such as Orangutan and FS Esports also put up a brilliant performance.

OR Esports

The last match of BGMI Masters Series was again played on Erangel where GodLike Esports and Team Soul were eliminated early after taking one finish each. OR Esports snatched away the chicken dinner from Skylightz Gaming at this match, however, Global Esports finished at the third position to stay the top scoring team at the leaderboard.
