Fortnite has been bringing several new and interesting features within the gamer and more recently has announced a separate Cup tournament on weekends for players. Unlike the major tournaments like FNCS Invitational, this tournament is set to feature players teaming up as part of the squad and participating in quests while playing the battle royale. This decision comes soon after Valorant announced its new competitive mode to be present in the Alpha stage.

Players will be able to queue up for these matches with a full squad, and can only be accessed by players of similar levels. This has been added so that the higher levelled players don’t get put into lower lobbies and vice-versa, improving the overall stability and gameplay experience. The Epic Games support agents getting their tournament means fans can also watch these matches, although the mode is yet to be announced officially by the developers.

Popular Fortnite leaker FNAssists posted the following on his Twitter handle: “Yes, Player Support as in Epic Games support agents will be competing in their own cup tournaments on Saturdays.” This new tournament is set to have its own rewards in the game, which may very well turn out to be some V-bucks or player skins as the teams climb up the ranks. The community has also given a positive reaction to this setup and is waiting for its release in the public beta.
