The 2.6 update of Genshin Impact brought home the Hydro character Kamisato Ayato and the Anemo Archon Barbatos, who goes by the name Venti. As of the time while writing this article, the banners have procured an estimated sale of $20.3 million which is quite impressive. This banner had brought the following 4-star characters-

  • Yun Jin
  • Sucrose
  • Xiangling

The excellent sub-DPS characters present in this banner almost made it impossible for the players to skip the banner. While Xiangling is an important character for beginners specially in the Spiral Abyss, Yun Jin was a recently added Geo character. Sucrose, on the other hand is quite beneficial in Anemo DMG as well as elemental reactions.

Nevertheless, the 5-star characters were undoubtedly the main reason for the high revenue growth of this banner. Ayato’s abilities as a Hydro character make him surpass Childe as he provides a huge Hydro AoE DMG whereas Venti is still the best character for crowd pulling. As the game’s meta is introducing powerful characters, pulling for Venti might be a wise choice.

It is important to note that the sales depicted here only consist the revenue accumulated in the Japan market for iOS users. In Japan, the revenue of Ayato and Venti banner in Genshin Impact has taken over the sales accumulated by Hu Tao and Zhongli and Ganyu rerun.

The 2.6 update now waits for the second phase that is going to add the first rerun of Kamisato Ayaka, the 5-star Cryo character who is also the younger sister of Kamisato Ayato.
