Genshin Impact to return Hyakunin Ikki and bring Raiden Shogun weekly boss in 2.5 update

The ancient rumours that the Raiden Shogun would be the next weekly boss in Genshin Impact 2.5 look to be true. According to those reports, she’ll have a bigger role in the 2.5 update. Which will include her first rerun banner. While the rerun has yet to be verified, recent leaks have revealed her weekly boss model in the game.

It’s worth noting that it’s not the same as the bosses encountered in Inazuma’s Archon Quest. Her model, as well as her fight, will be unlike anything she’s seen before.

For the time being, all Travelers have are screenshots of her model and leaks of unrelated Genshin Impact 2.5 content, such as a Hyakunin Ikki replay.

The Raiden Shogun weekly boss’s model may be seen in the image above. Her appearance differs significantly from that of Inazuma’s Archon Quests. Previous rumours stated that this weekly boss might drop Yae Miko and Ayato’s Talent Level-Up materials.

In the current leaks, Yae Miko has one unknown item for her Talent Level-Ups. As a result, it’s realistic to expect this Genshin Impact 2.5 weekly boss to drop it. There are a couple more Raiden Shogun renders to check out for Raiden Shogun fans.

These renders should be useful in the event that the prior tweet is removed. Players can witness four different perspectives of the new weekly boss model in this section. Her visage is identical to that of the playable Raiden Shogun, but her outfit is vastly different.

The context behind this leaked photograph of Raiden Shogun’s weekly bosses is unknown. Typically, leaks aim to keep storyline spoilers to a minimum. Players can deduce from this visual that they are fighting the puppet rather than Ei.
