Both the streamers had attended last year’s event

xQc had recently announced that he won’t be attending this year’s Sh*tCamp as he needed someone like sodapoppin with him, and without him, he won’t have any fun. This announcement was met with a huge outcry from his viewers, causing xQc to lose his cool for a moment and lash out at the people complaining about the whole scenario.

HasanAbi recently weighed in on this situation from his alternate twitter account, claiming xQc bailing on the event is “obviously bad”. He added that QTCinderalla had worked hard on making the event enjoyable for everyone, and xQc saying that the event will not be fun without sodapoppin is “unfathomably awful”.

He also added that he didn’t want to overshadow an otherwise fun event with such drama, but said that no matter how legitimate the reason, it “just feels icky to carelessly sh*t on something someone else worked hard on”.

The organiser of the event, QTCinderella tried to diffuse the whole situation with some tweets of her own, requesting all the viewers to focus on the people who are coming and how fun the event’s going to be instead of concentrating on those who could not make it. She also added that she would be updating the schedule for the whole event soon as their had been some last minute roster changes.
