After a long 10 months ban by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of India (Meity), BGMI is finally available for the pre-load on Android and iOS. Krafton earlier on 19 May announced that India’s beloved battleground will be making a comeback. Fans are excited ever since the news broke out. Through Battlegrounds Mobile India’s official Facebook Page, Krafton posted earlier today:
“Starting today, May 27th, Android users can now begin preloading their favourite game from the Google Play Store. Although the game can be played starting from May 29th, it is now ready for preloading. If you are unable to pre-load immediately, relax. Over the weekend you’ll eventually get the option. As for iOS users, you can download and start playing the game on May 29th, 2023.
Few users may have received an automatic update from midnight, this is a part of the same preload process, and you have nothing to worry about. If you are an Android user, you will be able to preload today and play on May 29th, if you are an iOS user, you can enjoy and play the game from May 29th.“
The game will roll out with the new 2.5.0 update which will new Dinoground theme on some maps and some new weapon features. This news has revved up fans more. Players just need to wait for 2 days more till they can drop in Pochinki and enjoy the game with their squad. Here’s how you can download the BGMI before the servers go live.

Download your Beloved BGMI on your Android device
Downloading BGMI isn’t rocket science and can be done with simple steps:
- First, go to the Google Play Store application on your phone.
- After opening the Play Store, click on the search bar and search for Battlegrounds Mobile India. You’ll see BGMI on the list.
- Click on the game icon.
- Now, Click on the install button or update button if you already have the BGMI application on your phone.
- The game will be installed or will update on your phone.
- After installing BGMI, Open the application and choose the preferred resource pack. The size of the normal resource pack will be 640 MB approx while HD Resource will be slightly more than 1 GB.
In addition to that, you can also click on this link to download APK and OBB for the game. One thing players should keep in mind is that you cannot play the games as servers are online as of now. The game will be available to play on 29 May 2023. As for the players on Apple devices, they cannot pre-load the game and have to download it on 29 May 2023 when the in-game servers will be available.
