On July 2, 2021, the Indian government banned PUBG, the fan-favorite game with a massive player base. However, soon after, the developers, Krafton, released an Indian version of the game, labeled BGMI, which swept through the player base. However, the government imposed a ban on BGMI again on July 28, 2022, due to claims made against it. On August 3, 2022, Krafton applied to the Indian government for permission to lift the BGMI prohibition.
Additionally, because the authorities have lifted the prohibition on BGMI, things seem promising. With the announcement of the ban upliftment, Krafton also launched the Beta Test of the game to select users.
As expected, fans are more than thrilled with the lifting of the ban on BGMI. That not all, more interestingly, most of the former BGMI pro gamers are back on the scene and all set to play the game as soon as it comes out officially. Krafton, with the announcement, also released the beta test for players to sign up for.
For context, all those who signed up for the beta test of the upcoming game would get the chance to experience it before its official release. There is no denying the fact that players are very absolutely stunned to enjoy the battleground after almost a year-long wait. However, recent developments have made beta testing quite inaccessible for players.
Prior to the release of the game, Krafton published an update for the BGMI test version. There have been rumors that BGMI Early Access Patch 2.6 is now available for download. It turns out that this is not the case. BGMI beta players did get a message. However, the game isn’t playable because the servers are momentarily unavailable.
BGMI Beta Testing system is coming soon

Players who signed up for the Beta Testing received a notification that would take them to the PlayStore, from which they can easily download the game. However, due to the temporary unavailability of the game’s servers, no one is able to download the game, at the time of writing.
An official statement from KRAFTON said, “Currently, the closed test track for BGMI is updated. Those who opted for a public test for the game before its launch are expected to get a message which takes them to play store for downloading the game. However, the link wont work, and the game cannot be downloaded as the servers have been shut.”
Krafton further stated that a few other people who did not register for the closed test are also seeing this notice. The developers are attempting to fix a technical problem here. Krafton isn’t currently beta testing their imminent release, despite notifying users about an upcoming beta test. Krafton did not explicitly say if it would receive a beta test before the game’s release.
Naturally, players were disheartened by this sudden change of plan. Those who had signed up for the beta testing of BGMI were really looking forward to playing the game. But the current situation with the servers has put the beta test to a halt. As of right now, we don’t know whether players will get a chance to play the beta or not. All gamers can do right now is hope for the chance to play the beta and check whether there have been any chances in the game from the previous versions.
