According to reports, MrBeast is considering entering the North American Challengers League (NACL), marking his first foray into competitive League of Legends. The NACL serves as the second tier of the North American League of Legends, positioned just below the prestigious LCS. However, recent changes have shaken up the league’s landscape.

Following the removal of a mandate that required LCS franchises to compete in the developmental league, seven out of the ten LCS teams abruptly withdrew from the NACL. In response, Riot Games, the publisher of League of Legends, reduced the number of NACL teams from 16 to 10 for the Summer Split.

In partnership with Nick ‘LS’ De Cesare, the Game Haus’ Sander Hove has been actively following the North American League of Legends scene and has shed light on MrBeast’s potential involvement in the NACL. It seems that MrBeast is among a group of popular content creators who have expressed their desire to join the league. Joining MrBeast in this endeavor are renowned League of Legends streamer Tyler ‘Tyler1‘ Steinkamp and Moist Esports, owned by Charles ‘MoistCr1TiKaL’ White Jr. and Ludwig Ahgren. While Tyler1 reportedly faced a setback in his attempt to join the NACL, he remains determined to assemble a competitive team for the league.

Amidst these changes, Disguised, an esports project led by content creator Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast‘ Wang, received an invitation to join the NACL. The team has performed admirably, currently tied for second place with an 11-7 record. Their matches have been drawing significant attention, with an average viewership of 10,951 per game, making them a compelling addition to the league.

While MrBeast’s interest in League of Legends esports is not entirely new, his focus had previously centered on higher levels of competition, specifically the LCS. During a guest appearance on the Worlds 2022 broadcast, he openly expressed his intention to acquire a slot in the prestigious LCS.

With MrBeast’s interest in League of Legends esports becoming more tangible, fans and enthusiasts eagerly anticipate his potential involvement in the NACL or even the LCS. Given his immense influence and reach, his entry into the competitive scene could bring a surge of excitement, viewership, and new possibilities for the future of League of Legends esports in North America.
