Krafton announces PUBG New State Mashup tournament with $250,000 prize pool

PUBG New State which rebranded itself as New State Mobile to focus more on mobile gaming recently completed the 100th day of its launch on Android and iOS platforms. Amidst this, the PUBG New State Mashup tournament has been announced by the officials with a whopping $250,000 prize pool.

The developers of PUBG New State which is also referred to modern PUBG have prepared a promising eSports scenario for the fans. They are mostly hosting open for all challenges in different regions and had recently concluded New State Mobile Open Challenge which was exclusive for Korean regions.

PUBG New State Mashup tournament

The PUBG New State Mashup tournament has been announced for the players of North American region which will be played over a duration of four weeks. The tournament will be played in two stages – Influencer hosted and Open qualifiers and Grand Finals where they need to play matches on the BR: Extreme mode of Troi map.

Influencer hosted tournaments

Krafton has partnered up with popular content creators and influencers of PUBG to promote the inaugural of PUBG New State Mashup tournament. ChocoTaco, Wynnsanity and NoahfromYoutube each will be seen hosting a qualifying tournament which will feature a prize pool $5000 USD each. Top performers from this tournament will be able to qualify for the Grand Finals.

Open Qualifiers

The Open Qualifiers of PUBG New State Mashup tournament will be played in three different sets which will take place for 3 days each. The Open Qualifiers will feature a prize pool of $10,000 USD and up to 128 teams can register here for the tournament. The top three teams from each Open Qualifier will advance directly to the Grand Final.

Grand Finals

The grand finals of PUBG New State Mashup tournament will feature 16 teams and a prize pool of $200,000 USD with an additional $5000 USD for the MVP of the tournament. The Grand Finals of the tournament will take place on April 1st and finally conclude on April 3rd.

Fans will be able to watch the open qualifiers, influencer hosted tournaments and grand final matches of PUBG New State Mashup tournament on YouTube and Twitch channel of PUBG new State (New State Mobile).
