The first Superweekend of PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 began today with full vigour demonstrated by 16 qualified teams from the weekdays. The super weekend remains crucial as the points obtained in these matches will determine the overall standings of the teams at the league stage.

On the first day of the Super Weekend, Chinese PUBG Mobile team who were the champions of PEL season 4, Six Two Eight became the table toppers with 62 points. Out of 5 matches, Six Two Eight won 2. At the second place stood Stalwart Esports with 58 points and 29 elimination points. Following them was the Thai team, Infinity, who didn’t have much luck on the weekdays. Six Two Eight began with their domination from the very first match which was played at the Erangel map. Their high rank points helped them to gain 23 points in total. 4RivalsxAlliance got the highest eliminations in this match. Thai PUBG Mobile team, Infinity took 9 eliminations and scored 21 points quite close to the Six Two Eight roster. SuNAN from Six Two Eight became the MVP of the match providing a damage of 392 and an average team contribution of 18%.

The second Super Weekend match of PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 East was played at Miramar. MS Chonburi were eliminated early in this match. Nigma Galaxy which had a good start at the weekdays, also weren’t up to the mark in this match. Stalwart Espors won the chicken dinner at this match with 26 points whereas Infinity were just 4 points behind to claim the first spot. Stalwart also took the highest number of finishes. Deadeyes Guys finished the match decently with 16 points and were placed at the third spot.

Match 3 of PMGC East Super weekend 1 was again played on the classic map of Erangel. Surprisingly, big teams such as Six Two Eight, Stalwart and Nigma Galaxy were eliminated within the first half of the match. It was Nova Esports who made a comeback at this match. Genesis Dogma also played remarkably well at this match but were eliminated at the fourth position. D’Xaviers were the winners of this match who took a total of 10 eliminations. 4Rivals were eliminated at the second position with 8 finishes.

The fourth and fifth Super weekend match of PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 East was won by Six Two Eight and Rico Infinity respectively. At the final match, Rico Infinity surpassed other big teams such as Nova Esports to take 10 eliminations and add 25 points to their overall score board. Stalwart Esports and Team Secret also amped up their performance at the final match.
