The First Patch for GTA Trilogy in 2022 has been announced.

GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has been a difficult experience for a number of players since its release in late 2021. Various bugs and other difficulties were discovered in large numbers across all three games in the bundle: Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas.

Thankfully, Rockstar has continued to deliver new remedies for these issues, with the most recent update due in the coming days.

First pack announced for GTA Trilogy

Rockstar announced on social media this afternoon that a new patch for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be released next week. The studio stated that this patch will be applied to all platforms at the same time, indicating that it will not be staggered like previous upgrades have been.

We obviously don’t know much about what this update for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will involve, so we’re in the dark for the time being. It’s safe to assume, though, that this update will include a number of bug fixes and speed improvements.

It remains to be seen whether or not it significantly improves the experience of any title in this collection, but it’s reassuring to know that Rockstar isn’t done with it yet.
