The story opens in a village with a fight against the infected villagers. As the village fight in Resident Evil 4 Remake happens right at the start, for beginners it can be very hard to beat. Hoard of infected villagers don’t make it easy to just walk up and get the job done. Luckily an easter egg lets players bypass the entire fight and allows them to move on to the next part.

How to skip the first village fight in Resident Evil 4 Remake
For beginners and veterans of the game alike, the first village fight sequence can be quite challenging. Players need to fight lots of infected village people to progress further. Going up against hordes of enemies and not dying will test the players’ presence of mind, correct use of weaponry, and fighting skills. But there’s a silver lining, players can choose not to go up against these enemies and simply move on unscathed.
An observant player of the game discovered an easy way to complete the village mission. Denzel⁷ on Twitter posted a video of using this trick successfully to skip the first village fight all together. In the short 39 sec clip, he demonstrated that:
- Firstly, players need to run past the villagers.
- Then head for the house to left of the Village square tower.
- After that go to the second floor of the building and stand on the wooden small walkway.
- Next, they need to aim for the Church located between the mountains and village square tower.
- Lastly, Players need to aim for the Churches’ bell and wait for it to ring.
In the video, the player uses a scoped rifle, which clearly gave him an advantage. This method will mostly come in handy for speed runners of Resident Evil 4 Remake. For beginners, this may be a bit more challenging as they will not have the luxury of a sniper rifle. So, players need to be pretty accurate with their aim as they will only have a Handgun to make this work. Overall, players can use this trick to speed things up and finish the game quickly.
