The League of Legends eSports scenario are gearing up to get their new World Champions as the two-month long tournament will come to a conclusion today with T1 taking a lead at this moment. YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson was seen as the surprise guest for this year and he has made a major announcement earlier today.

The 24-year-old YouTuber greeted the live audience at the tournament before the two Korean teams take on each other and answered some persistent rumors surrounding him. One of the hosts asked MrBeast about whether the rumors of him buying LCS (League Championship Series) team is true or not, to which the YouTuber claimed that it’s ‘100%’ true.

This was followed by some loud cheers from everyone as he followed his statements by saying that he isn’t sure about the time he will purchase the team but it’s his wish to have a team that makes it to a stage like this.

“It might be a year or two but yeah 100%”, MrBeast put an end to to the floating rumors after confirming that purchasing a LCS team is definitely on the cards but it might happen after a year or two. He provided some obscure hints on the purchase but his fans can definitely look out for his new venture.

While MrBeast primarily remains a YouTuber who recently achieved a huge milestone of completing 100 million subscribers, he has made headlines for his other ventures such as his philanthropic works of planting trees, cleaning plastic waste from the coastlines of America and what not.

His projects may sound a hyperbole but he turns heads after keeping his promise. A couple of days ago, his ambitious ‘Team Trees’ came to fruition as he was successful in planting close to $20 million trees from every dollar ‘Beast Philanthropy‘ made. On the flip side, his project ‘Team Seas’ was met way before in January.

As expected, he had instant ideas for him which might even get implemented even Vine makes a comeback.

Even though the YouTuber doesn’t address major eSports tournaments, he has talked about buying LCS team for quite a while and fans agree that when that happens, it will be a huge thing for both the YouTuber as well as League of Legends eSports.

Various suggestions were poured in as to what time he should purchase the team, one of the users also wrote that it is better to invest in LEC (League European Championship) as the NA competitive scenario is nearly dead. Nevertheless, it will now depend on the YouTuber whether he plans to make any changes or not.
