Eugenie Bouchard and Sofia Kenin give support to Nick Kyrgios’ #MessFreeChallenge

Recently, Old El Paso, a food brand, partnered with Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios to launch a new product. The Old El Paso Tortilla Pockets are a product designed to prevent messes during meal times.
The partnership isn’t simply from a monetary viewpoint – it is also for a very noble cause. Kyrgios also founded the NK Foundation, an organization that supports underprivileged youths and gives them upliftment in various forms. In the #MessFreeChallenge campaign, Old El Paso and the NK Foundation together also committed to donating over 10000 meal kits to help the needy children in Australia.
To kick it off, Nick released a video with him playing some tennis holding an Old El Paso tortilla pocket. In it, he shows off the mess-free nature of the tortilla pockets, even taking a bite in-between shots.

An added perk of the partnership is that Old El Paso will donate one extra meal kit per Instagram share of Nick Kyrgios’ video of the campaign.
Multiple tennis players have since then partnered with Old El Paso to spread the message in their respective countries. A few of them are American Sofia Kenin, Canadian Eugenie Bouchard, Andy Murray and India’s Leander Paes.
Eugenie Bouchard is the first Canadian-born player to reach the finals of a Grand Slam. She was nominated by Monica Puig and released a video of her playing standard tennis shots with the Old El Paso tortilla bowl in her hand. She further tagged Sofia Kenin, who also released a similar video.
Sofia Kenin, currently world no. 4, is the highest-ranked American female tennis player and winner of the 2020 Australian Open.
Kenin further nominated Polish teenage star, Iga Swiatek, who recently won her first-ever Grand Slam at Roland Garros.
