Allan (6.8/10): Allan helped with some decent blocks today. He went to his defensive duties well during a counter-attack. He provided a good assist towards the only goal scored by Everton.
Demarai Gray (7.2/10): Gray created some good push from the left-hand side. He went for some good shots all by himself that was well on target.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (6.5/10): Calvert-Lewin missed a crucial chance when they had a chance to open up the lead. The penalty shot had just hit the bar missing the nets completely. He missed some helpful chances but created an attacking pressure.
Rondon (6.1/10): Benitez got an attacker in place of a defender trying to build up the attack. He adjusted well in attack but couldn’t equalize the lead.
Andre Gomes (5.8/10): He couldn’t draw much impact in the game entering late. He was substituted at the 86th minute.
Robert Sanchez (6.4/10) Sanchez had been forced into some excellent saves tonight. He still was surprised seeing the deflected goal heading past him.
Dan Burn (7.8/10): Burn doubles the lead for Brighton being completely unmarked to head the corner into the nets. He created some gaps to open up in the necessary space and drove the lead successfully.
Adam Webster (5.3/10): Webster was not playing so well today. He ended up in the booking for a reckless tackle. His interceptions were not up to the mark.
Joel Veltman (6.1/10): Veltman couldn’t create much pressure from the wing and had to return back to defence at times. He had an average game overall.
