7-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton has lately been embroiled in drama for all the wrong reasons. It was recently discovered that former Brazilian racer Nelson Piquet had used horrible racial slurs to address Hamilton in an interview which was recorded last year after Hamilton’s collision with Max Verstappen. But now, fans are focusing on the brighter side of things as this year’s British Grand Prix would bring a huge opportunity for Lewis Hamilton for setting yet another record in F1–the record for the highest number of victories for a racer at a single circuit.

Lewis Hamilton showed some hopes for his fans after clinching his second podium finish in 2022 in last week’s Canadian Grand Prix. For British racer Lewis Hamilton, his home Grand Prix has always been a special event where he always hopes to bring out his best form. While this year’s F1 season has not been particularly easy-going for him, he still has managed to keep his fans’ hopes up as he got the podium finish in Montreal last week. Now, if he manages to win the Silverstone race, he will be up for making a new Formula 1 World Record.

While Lewis Hamilton’s name has already been etched in gold in the history of Formula 1 as one of the most skilled racers of all time, the Briton still shows no signs of slowing down at age 37. There have been many concerns about his retirement but he is still going strong as he looks forward to adding another World Record to his name.
