The team is enjoying its success. However, there are people online who diss the F1 drivers. A video that was uploaded on Twitter last year has resurfaced. The user-targeted Verstappen. He released a clip of himself singing a song and called it “Smoking on a Max Verstappen pack”.

Trolls targeting Formula 1 drivers have become common. The video mentioned Abu Dhabi 2021. It was a controversial race, and Max Verstappen won his first Formula One world championship. Lewis Hamilton was fighting to win his eighth and break Micheal Schumacher’s record. The problem arose when Micheal Masi meddled with the rules.

The Twitter user sang, “Smokin’ on the Max Verstappen Pack. Engine blew up on the side of the track. Michael Masi ain’t got his back. This engine ain’t Will Smith, it’s don’t slap.” Other users defended Verstappen. The fans are passionate about Formula 1. They wage wars and support their favorite driver. However, it is important to draw the lines. The two-time world champion does not engage in social media either way.

While the fans are not over Abu Dhabi 2021, the drivers have moved on. They focus on what lies ahead rather than looking behind at the problems. Verstappen had an incredible year in 2022. He won his second title early on in the season. Mercedes struggled throughout the year yet managed to get several podiums. Ferrari suffered from reliability issues and poor strategy calls. This led them to miss out on a championship fight with Red Bull.

Max Verstappen has had a successful career so far. Red Bull is the most dominant team at the moment. Things are looking up for them. They got first and second place at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Sergio Perez, Verstappen’s teammate, also had a brilliant finish. The paddock has deemed them as the season’s favorites.
