Manager Koeman normally employs a 4-2-3-1 formation which could enable Gerson to partner well with left-winger Ansu Fati and right-winger Ousmane Dembele. Star player Lionel Messi also plays in the right-wing and whether it is his ability to set up goals, score goals or his ability to build up play you can’t keep Messi out of action. Messi’s onfield networking from the right wing with Gerson could be successful as the 24-year-old has showcased clever understanding with his positioning inside the box.
