The Philadelphia 76ers have got their game together. After a miserable last year, their post season work may have been just working fine of for the team. They have got the best out of every team and are the table toppers in the Eastern Conference. Despite a great display of game, they could not edge past Utah Jazz in today’s encounter.

Missing out Joel Embiid has been a huge negative point for the 76ers. Joel Embiid has been in his prime this season. He is already contending for the MVP this time. However, the team put up a great fight against the giants in West. Yet fell sort. Utah Jazz crushed the Philadelphia 76ers. After multiple players scored huge numbers, Utah sealed the deal. The youngster Jordan Clarkson had his career high 40-points for the team. Despite Ben Simmons’ 42-point game and Tobias Harris adding another 36 points, they were drenched. Ben Simmons felt disrespected when he was put up against center Rudy Gobert on offence. The former rookie of the year isn’t a typical point guard. Standing 6’10 with exclusive post up moves, it is really a challenge for any point guard to switch to his giant body.

The two-time defensive player of the year for Utah, Rudy Gobert proved why he is worth the title. Simmons has got great offensive skills but getting a big man to guard him wasn’t expected. However, it turned out to do the trick for Jazz. The Frenchman contained him. Despite his 42 major points, the team could not clinch the title. In the post-game interview, Ben was seen mocking at Rudy. He said, “I saw Rudy was guarding me, I mean, I love going at someone like that. I felt like it was a bit disrespectful putting him on me, but it is what it is.” This may just have tested Simmons’ space for the game.

Ben Simmons has come in handy for the 76ers. He is averaging 15 points per game. Yet his playmaking skills have outdone major veteran point guards. Despite this performance Utah sealed a big win. Embiid’s absence has impacted Philadelphia. But being at the top in the EC, they need to win games.
