With the Summer transfer window opening on the July 1, all the football clubs are looking for a busy transfer window ahead with a lot of potential players on the list of big as well as mid budget clubs of Europe. Some Clubs have already started their summer spendings, with Leicester city signing Boubakary Soumare and Patson Daka and also Manchester united just left with last formalities to sign Jadon Sancho. While young and prospectful players in the market are the main target of top clubs, there are some players who needs a chance back at redemption at some other clubs to prove their worth. The prime example of two such players are Philippe Coutinho and James Rodriguez.
AC Milan are on their redemption season with the once among the world’s best club qualifying for the Champions league since 2013/14 season under the manger Stefano Pioli. The club consists of some top young talents and the aging like fine wine veteran attacker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Since the Rossoneri has qualified for the European Competition this season they would look to strengthen their squad even more with good players in the market this transfer market. Two such players, Coutinho and James Rodriguez have been reportedly offered to AC milan this window by agent Jorge Mendes.

Philippe Coutinho has been an outstanding player for Liverpool and one of the top most prospects in the world, Having been in the target of many clubs, Spanish Giant FC Barcelona signed him in the winter window with a whopping 145M pounds. Since his arrival in Spain however, Coutinho couldn’t perform to the level that was expected by the club and the fans, having sparks of good moments,which showed he still had the potential, Barca loaned him to Bayern Munich, where he got to be lucky to play under Hansi Flick and be part of the treble winning squad of Bayern Munich.
On coming back to his parent club again, Coutinho struggled to perform before a long term injury which ruled him out for most part of the season. With the arrival of Joan Laporta as the new Ceo of Barcelona, Coutinho has been reportedly ruled out of the clubs plan in the upcoming season and put on the transfer market for potential offers. Jorge Mendes, Coutinho’s agent had reportedly offered him to Serie A club AC Milan with an estimated market value of 10M pounds according to italian media tuttosport.com
James Rodrguez the 29 year old Columbian midfielder who also had a bit of unfornuate turn of events as he struggled to perform consistently with the big clubs, Having played in Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Everton, he was a trusted man of Carlo Ancelloti, but failed to perform to his expectations. He has also been offered to the Rossoneri but the two deals would be a complicated one to go through.
Can the two midfielders ressurect themselves and get their form back in the remaining years of their career, is what is to be looked upon in the upcoming season.
