According to the reports published on Goal, Arsenal are looking for Martin Odegaard who is set to leave Gunners once his loan spell expires at the end of the season. Despite the poor season, Arsenal have faith in Mikel Arteta and will look to continue the process under him. The club doesn’t want to go behind the big name and have turned their attention towards Emi Buendia.

Arsenal are stepping up their pursuit of Emiliano Buendia as they look at alternatives to Martin Odegaard this summer. The Gunners are long-term admirers of the Norwich playmaker and have watched him on countless occasions during his three-year spell at Carrow Road. And they are now preparing to firm up that interest, with Mikel Arteta keen to add another creative player to his squad ahead of the 2021-22 season.

According to Transfermarkt, Emi Buendia is prized at €22 million but Norwich City are demanding a sum up to € 40 million for the Spanish international. In the ongoing season in Championship, Buendia has 32 G/A in 39 games for the Carrow Road outfit. Emi Buendia is not a traditional No 10 and can play as a right-winger as well as on the left flank. The Spanish international will be a great addition if Arsenal can lay their hands on the player.
